All Right, my town has adopted a smoking ban for all public facilities, with only a small number allowances. I am so tired of my constitutional rights being eliminated, I am annoyed. I do not fathom the reason non-smokers have such a assertive judgement on what us smokers are doing. I understand that smoking is harmful, but I made a conscience choice when I took up smoking, observant of the fact it was harmful. Just because non-smokers want me to stop, will not mean that it’s going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a privilage, but most restaurants have a special smoking area. If you do not want to breathe in the smoke, don’t sit in the smoking area, you are not unwilling made to sit in that section. And as well as the employees of these pubs that comment they are distressed by second hand smoke, what a joke. I worked in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years, and I know that most of thepeople I worked with were smokers. Dealing with the public, always, drives you to smoke. And, I have never overheard any non-smoking co-worker ever protest about cigarette smoke while on the job in the smoking area. Putting a smoking restriction in restaurants and bars, can only save me money, considering I refuse to eat out after the January 1st.

Only a Couple Days to the Smoking Restriction
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009All I need for my Present: Smokes!
Friday, December 18th, 2009I have concluded this holiday to ask for trustworthy presents that my wife can pick out comfortably for me. My number one gift, as always, is my favorite cigar from helix-cigars.com. My wife doesn’t even have to take leave of the house, she can go on the internet (I have all my favorites sites saved) and enter the order there. As far as anything else, she can head over to the local store and pick out a gift. She debates every holiday that I am utterly complicated person to shop for. But we have been married for over 15 years! And if she doesn’t know the things I like by now, I give up. I continuously mention every year, “I want cigars”, I puff on 1 or 2 in a day, and that adds up. I have a humidor for storing my cigars, “what’s that for?” she inquires. Well my beloved, it’s to keep my cigars alive. So, if you get me cigars for christmas I can keep them in there for a couple months and remove a stogie when I am wanting to fancy one. Although I have to say, I was lucky last year, she bought me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The year before, she bought me a fishing pole, unfortunately I said I would like to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing only once since then, but guess what, I still smoke 1-2 cigars a day. So what do I want for the holiday this year? I want Stogies, and anything else would just be an additional enjoyment.
